Privacy Policy
How TRAIDE collects, uses and protects information about your business, your team and your customers.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, business name), the operational data you enter or upload (customers, quotes, jobs, photos, invoices, timesheets), device and usage data needed to run and secure the service, and — only while a team member is clocked in and has consented — location data used for dispatch and arrival suggestions.
How we use it
To provide and improve TRAIDE, to send transactional messages (quotes, approvals, invoices, reminders) on your behalf, to keep the platform secure, and to support you. We do not sell personal information. AI features process your data to answer your questions and draft content inside your own workspace; it is not used to train third-party models.
Your customers' data
You control the information about your customers. Customers access their own jobs through a signed portal link and never see other customers, staff locations or internal notes. You can export or delete customer records at any time.
Location data
Location is only captured while a team member is clocked in, is visible to that team member, and is retained for the period configured by your business (default 90 days). It is never shared with customers or other businesses on the TRAIDE Marketplace.
Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us run TRAIDE (hosting, email delivery, payments, mapping) under contracts that limit their use of it, with parties you direct us to share it with (e.g. a supplier receiving your purchase order), and where required by law.
Storage and security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per business, and backed up daily. Access is role-based and every sensitive action is logged. Files are stored in managed object storage in Australia or the region you select.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact privacy@traide.app. We handle requests in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the GDPR.
